Description
A soothing blend of herbs that have been formulated to help restore the gut lining and aid digestion.
Ingredients: Licorice, Marshmallow root, Alfafa, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Cornflower petals*, Orange Peel.
Licorice: Adaptogen, demulcent. Roots of this plant have a significant effect on the endocrine system especially Addison’s Disease. Can also be used in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and other endocrine disorders such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and androgen excess. Also used to assist with respiratory conditions, skin disease, gastritis, IBS, ulcers and constipation.
Cautions & contraindications – avoid taking with hypotensive medication. Usage over long period may raise blood pressure.
Chamomile: muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative. Used for gastrointestinal conditions (food allergies and sensitivities, gingivitis, indigestion, colic, gastritis, colitis, abdominal pain and flatulence, travel sickness, IBS, nausea, enteritis. Asthma and hayfever. Used for with children with anxiety, insomnia and restlessness.

Lemon Balm: sedative, antiviral, antimicrobial, muscle relaxant. Used for insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, depression, melancholia, migraines, common cold and fever, flatulent colic, IBS.

Marshmallow: The great levels of mucilage content makes it a great demulcent used for inflammation and irritation of the gastrointestinal system (ulcers and colitis) and respiratory tract (bronchitis, coughs)

Alfalfa: alfalfa has high amounts of nutrients such as vitamins, calcium and protein. It has also known to stabilise blood sugar levels. It can assist in stimulating the appetite and benefits people trying to gain weight.
Cautions & contraindications: do not use to treat Lupus or any other autoimmune conditions. Avoid large amounts if pregnant or breastfeeding.
